The Keysight N9952A FieldFox Handheld Microwave Analyzer measures and analyzes data while also withstanding the toughest working environments. You can use the Keysight unit for vector network analysis (VNA) and spectrum analysis. This makes it great for testing cables and antennas.
Optional features include a power meter, an independent signal generator, a vector voltmeter, an interference analyzer, and a changeable DC source. The Microwave Analyzer measures DTF and TDR simultaneously. It is easy for technicians to use in the field. It can handle regular maintenance and detailed troubleshooting.
It’s built-in GPS receiver gives measurements with location tags. It also provides data like time, latitude, longitude, and elevation. The GPS not only offers position data but also an external reference to increase Keysight N9952A FieldFox frequency accuracy.
The FieldFox combo analyzer N9952A is mainly a cable and antenna analyzer. You can set it up with different tools. These include a spectrum analyzer, a real-time spectrum analyzer, and a full 2-port network analyzer.
To save space in a field kit, you can add built-in features. This allows for up to 10 instruments in 1. They can handle routine maintenance, detailed troubleshooting, and everything in between. Better yet, FieldFox delivers precise microwave and millimeter-wave measurements – wherever you need to go.
Keysight N9952A Features:
- Standard model includes cable and antenna analysis (CAT)
- Expand capabilities with optional VNA, spectrum analyzer, built-in power meter, vector voltmeter, and more
- Carry one portable instrument that handles routine maintenance and in-depth troubleshooting
- Use the industry’s lightest all-in-one analyzer at only 7.1 lb
- CAT and vector network analyzing frequency: 300 kHz to 50 GHz (VNA via option)
- Spectrum analzying frequency: 9 kHz to 50 GHz (SA via option)
- Save time by measuring DTF and TDR in the same sweep (TDR via option)
- Make accurate spectrum analyzer measurements (± 0.5 dB) without warm-up
To improve spectrum analysis, the Keysight N9952A FieldFox has the same PowerSuite measurements found in Keysight signal analyzers. This allows for quick and accurate one-button testing of channelized communication systems. The InstAlign capability lets you instantly make precise power measurements in the field, even when the temperature fluctuates. With FieldFox, you can measure both the 1-port cable loss and 2-port insertion loss.
The N9952A FieldFox has a built-in calibration feature. This lets you calibrate the network analyzer without taking a cal kit into the field. When you use any test instrument, adding extra devices to the test port requires recalibration. This includes using jumper cables or adapters with a calibration kit.
