Mettler MT5 analytical Microbalance comes from a long line of reliable balances equipped with PRO FACT and has the ability to read up to six decimal places.

This Mettler MT5 is in good working condition. The dust on the dust cover showed up very nicely:-| Otherwise in nice, clean, used condition. The pictures show the scale calibrating itself. Then, we weighed a small clump of styrofoam at 8.661mg. The little weighing platform is unstable and perhaps needs to be replaced.

Capacity: 5.1g. Readability: 0.001mg. Has full range tare. Features ten selectable weighing units: g, mg, microgram, oz, ct, dwt, GN, ozt, etc. ., piece counting, percent and dynamic weighing, statistics and density determination. 2 weighing units can be selected for prompt switching between them. Equipped with RS232 Data Interface. Features under balance weighing.

At any time, the FACT detects automatically when the balance exceeds the permitted tolerance range and calibrates the balance utilizing 2 internal weights. Except of usual internal calibration, the FACT also fulfills linearity calibration.

In addition to the FACT, the balance has easy-to-use menu-operated calibrations: motorized internal calibration, including linearity calibration, by built in 2 standard weights and external calibration by 5g weight.

The balance operating menu allows to adapt the balance to weighing conditions, select calibration function, weighing process adapter, repeatability, auto zero correction, primary and alternative weighing units and interface output parameters.

The microbalance glass draft shield can be opened and closed automatically, by one touch keys located at the right and left sides or manually by turning the door handle.
